Andrés Nói Arnarsson

Andrés Nói is the youngest member of the guide team, but he is in no way lacking in experience. Andrés has been skiing since he was a toddler, competing in alpine skiing until his teens, when he widened his interests towards mountaineering activities of all sorts, including climbing and mountain biking. His first guiding experience was in fact gained in 2021, when he ran the e-mountainbike tours for our sister company Sóti Summits.

He is a recent graduate from the Mountaineering of Iceland, and in addition to that, he has spent time in the past winters in Canada, taking courses and of course skiing endlessly to his hearts desire.

Andrés is calm and collected beyond his years, with a wry sense humour and warm demeanor. He is an expert in prepping skis and maintaing equipment, after working for several years in an outdoor gear shop in Iceland.
