Designed for the adventurer who wants to see and do it all without compromising on comfort or amenities, this thrilling short break features a day of heart-pounding heliskiing, a day of gloriously remote ski-touring, and two nights of all of the creature comforts Sóti Lodge has to offer.
Short on time?
No problem at all. We get it – Iceland is amazing, there’s so much to see and do, and you’re probably on a pretty tight schedule. That’s why we’ve compacted some of the country’s best skiing into just two days.
Your first heli day will help you get to grips with the lay of the land, and sample the finest, fastest runs one after another – a tasting platter, if you will, of some of our guides’ favourite peaks and valleys.
Day two is then a more in-depth exploration of the terrain. Starting with a heli drop-off, we then spend the day on touring skis, skinning up and carving down the mountains. Immersing yourself in the Troll Peninsula’s landscape offers a whole new perspective of the area, the perfect counterpoint to yesterday’s high-adrenaline runs.
And after? Well, you’re free to enjoy Iceland’s many other attractions – whether you’re heading east to Mývatn, west to the Westfjords region, or staying nearby to enjoy unique horse riding adventures, a SUP day in Sigló, or taking it easy at the Forest Lagoon in Akureyri.

Skiing and travelling are hard work, and if you’re visiting us from the States, you might find yourself in need of a little rest to combat the jetlag too. Well, no worries there – we’ve got you covered!
At Sóti Lodge, we provide generous three-course dinners, hearty packed lunches and a tasty buffet breakfast bar to keep you well-fed and energised. Our lounge and dining area is the perfect spot for hanging out and recounting the day’s adventures, or we’ve got the on-site pool, sauna and hot tub for guests to enjoy. Every room then has a high-quality mattress and ensuite facilities, so you’ll be well-prepared for whatever the day brings.
